Breaking News: After weeks of protests, Columbia cancels main commencement ceremony

Monday, May 6, 2024 9:15 AM ET The university will instead hold smaller ceremonies for each of its 19 colleges. The main campus has been in a state of near lockdown since last Tuesday.
