Breaking news: Bus hijacking in Los Angeles leaves one dead

View in browser | nytimes.com   BREAKING NEWS A person with a gun hijacked a bus in Los Angeles, prompting a police chase through the city and leaving a passenger dead, officials said. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 9:32 AM ET The bus driver and another passenger were uninjured. The police were able to stop the bus using spike strips, and a S.W.A.T. team took the suspect into custody.
