Some of our first coverage was about how to take action on the climate crisis, how to talk to teens about body image, and why budgeting advice that doesn't take the emotional side of money into account isn't always helpful.

We're able to do this work because of our contributors. While we do receive income from advertising and grants, we also rely on financial gifts from our readers to keep our work accessible to all. Like everything we do at Vox, Even Better is influenced by you. We've been soliciting your questions from day one because journalism shouldn't always be prescriptive. What if, instead, it felt like a natural extension of the conversations we were already having?
